NOT kidding. I'd love to know whether or not that is the case. Believe it or not, my nephew is planning to go to grad school there! (He's still in High School... when I told him that it was the future site of Chimpy's LIEberry, he said "Ewww, you're kidding.".

25. Why'd the second Worst President get an airport and a Trade building named after him?
In a very liberal city, no less?

Funny; the only time Reagone thought of airports was to fire their striking workers, and the only trade he thought was great was the kind that only benefitted the wealthy of our nation.

Why do Americans worship Republicans and see them as great men? Is it any wonder the world sees us as an overall nation of dumbshits?

Edited on Fri Apr-11-08 12:15 PM by seasat
The project that will emerge from this library to attempt to make Shrubbie anything but a miserable failure will dwarf the revisionism necessary for Reagan. He's supported by a host of wealthy powerful companies and oil rich middle eastern countries that would like to continue his policies. The only way they can do that is with a huge propaganda drive after his term ends. The library will probably be the coordination center for that effort.

If you are a millionaire or own a large company the Bush years are a rose garden.

Unless you own a bank that wsa involved in subprime mortgages, which the Bush admin worked to prevent regulation of. If so, hahaha. You tried to rip of black people, latinos and single mothers by trying to trick them into subprime loans when they qualified for better loans, now you are going bankrupt.

convincing the public that W was a popular, legitimate president. I'll be surprised if he isn't one of their icons in 30 years, like that other shameless champion of the Haves and Have-Mores, Ronald Reagan.

GW Bush has epitomized their ideal government, and the big money is going to work overtime to rehabilitate his image and convince people that his shameful policies were good.
