Dear Zodiak,

Support DFA's Fight to Take Back the Senate

Democracy for America's campaign to unseat reactionary Republican, Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe, is turning heads on both sides of the aisle.

DFA members have raised over $48,000 for challenger Andrew Rice. And just a few weeks ago, DFA trained volunteers and campaign workers in Oklahoma to give Rice the boots on the ground support he needs to win.

We know how to put grassroots candidates over the top. That's why Sen. Inhofe is running scared, attacking DFA at every opportunity. Inhofe's campaign has been reduced to schoolyard name calling, warning voters of the DFA boogeyman.

Let's show Inhofe and Senate Republicans how we fight back. Contribute $20 today to DFA's campaign to take back the Senate.

Senator Inhofe claims to stand up for Oklahoma. But he is more concerned with making Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy permanent than finding solutions to a healthcare crisis that affects a majority of people in his state. He is more preoccupied with calling global warming a farce than creating jobs to help the struggling people of Oklahoma get back on their feet.

It's time to show Sen. Inhofe the door. Andrew Rice is a serious challenger who can get the job done. With your support, DFA will make sure Rice's grassroots campaign has the resources and tools he needs to send Inhofe packing.

Chip in $20 right now to move us one step closer to victory.

We will not stop there. DFA's campaign to take back the Senate will target some of the worst Republicans in office. The American people are tired of more tax cuts for the wealthy and endless war. We are ready for change.

And DFA will not shy away from a tough fight. Republican incumbents spend their entire Senate careers building up war chests and scaring away serious challengers. But we take them on anyway.

Your $20 builds the foundation of grassroots campaigns across the country. Together, we will take back the Senate. Contribute today.

Thanks for turning your contribution into action,

- Rachel

This is the 50 state strategy at work.....Inohofe may win, but he will have to spend some bucks to do so, which will weaken his party in general because he will not have fnds to give to other pukes. And who knows...maybe we can win! But you will never know unless we give it a serious effort.

This is why I support DFA and not the DLC....the DLC wrote off this state over a decade ago. Consequently, Inohofe has had free reign. Now that he is being challenged, we can hold his anti-science views up and ask Oklahomans how thy feel about being represented by a willfully ignorant shill for corporations.

3. I remember when we elected a democratic Mayor of Tulsa.........
Inhofe made a comment then, that if the democrats were successful in '06 (which we were), that there would be a good possibility that they might be voted out of office!!

I'm ready for it, kick them ALL out!! That includes Inhofe, Sullivan, Coburn and all the rest!!!

4. And DFA will work towards that goal
...the DLC thinks you are happy with your representation since you live in a "red state".

5. I know........
I get emails from Dean about fighting Inhofe all the time....

And if the DLC thinks that any democrat would be happy with Inhofe, they surely must be out of their minds!

6. Each bit of news like this makes me want to come up with some award for Howard Dean
Thank you, doctor, for reminding the party that there are fifty states, not ten. Now if only the old guard would allow the reminder to sink in.

No wonder they call us "cut and run" - the party has been retreating from Republican wins for decades now. Time to start fighting back.

7. I love DFA!
We have three chapters here in our city and are about to start a fourth. It is a GREAT organization. Their campaign training really rocks too.
