History lesson for Bush

A thousand years ago, a soldier from France conquered England in one day with 5,000 guys with swords and bows and arrows. He took two years out of his busy schedule to subjugate the entire country -- on horseback.

Within five years, he had rebuilt the English economy and challenged France for regional power. He was William the Conqueror, one of the greatest kings in English history.

Four years ago, a man from Texas, who shirked his voluntary military duties, took four months to conquer a country that had no air force, another year to find its ruler and another year for the show trial and botched execution of said ruler.

1. Good letter. May I suggest we send Dubya to Baghdad and let
him ride around the city on a horse? If he can overcome his fear of horses, I'm sure he'd set everything right in Iraq in no time.

4. those stuffed horses were all over the country around tha time.
I have an old picture of me on a stuffed horse. You could also have your picture on a stuffed buffalo.
