I thought we had a computer forum here at DU but I cant find it

When my computer reboots the information (copyright, etc.) that flashes on the on the screen while it goes through its gyrations is not where it used to be. Instead of it being at the bottom of the screen it is now in the middle of the screen. And the little bars that flash from left to right showing the reboot progress (I guess?) is now at the top of my monitor screen instead of in the middle like it used to be.

Whats going on here? Anyone know?

After it finishes rebooting everything runs fine.

Any ideas or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows what causes this and how to fix it.

2. Do you have another monitor?

If you do, or can borrow one, hook it up and boot the computer. If the problem continues, you might have a bad video card. If not, then you might have a bad monitor.

8. No other monitor and it is only goofy for a small section of the boot up

Then everything is fine. Maybe I shouldn't worry about it?
