So I was watching Tweety on Gregory
chatting the usual crap about McSameasBush and pushing him as competition for the Dems in November. And then when I heard the clip of MsSameasBush going after the youth vote Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!...it hit me - they all know the Rethugs don't have a chance but how else would GEM$NBC make all this money from ads if they don't create a horse race.

The youth will vote for MCSame in exactly the same proportion that they like hanging out with crazy old men. McSame does not have a chance.

1. Of Course.
The media wants a horse race. They want something to fill up their 24hr. news cycle. A walkaway will not give them the polemic-based coverage they have grown to rely upon, so they will create the news that doesn't appear naturally. This is what is meant when an "infotainment" figure slips and speaks of "the narrative". The coverage is scripted out in advance and the information tweaked to make things appear as they want them to appear, not as they really might be.

Which all adds up to one crystalline fact: TV news coverage is largely as useless as tits on a boar hog.

7. Thanks for the recap
So far, I've had a tv - free day. Although I was tempted a few times. Appreciate the buzz.

Tweety still must go home every night and say to himself - I'm not as old as McCain... I'm not as old.....

9. Is Specter planning to leave the Senate or not run again?
I read that he's been diagnosed with a recurrence. But I didn't know he was maybe leaving.

10. I think they are getting ready to steal another election.
What's with the national polls showing McSame and either Dem neck-and-neck??? Are they trying to set up a "close race" and then, wow, McSame wins? I know I'm paranoid, but I'm just sayin'.
