Is anyone else here kind of relieved that this whole
Yearning for Zion can of worms is a Rethug problem, and a Texas problem -- and not something that some Democratic governor or Democratic President is being blamed for?

Can you imagine the outcry from the Rethugs if Democrats had acted in exactly the same way as Gov. Perry has?

2. Oh, absolutely.
The Rethugs would have a hayday with this if it were a Democratic governor in charge of it.

6. They apparently weren't armed to the teeth and firing at the police.
Janet Reno didn't start the violence at Waco.
