No one is a greater elitist than a neo-conservative
The entire Straussian philosophy that led to the neocon movement is based on the idea that the masses cannot be trusted with their own destiny. Only a ruling elite should make decisions and take actions to determine the course of human existence. In order to do this, the ruling elite must keep the population in constant fear, and manipulate them through organized religion to pacify those fears and instill a sense of nationalism.

Dick Cheney. Rumsfeld. Wolfowitz. Condoliza Rice. And anyone else who signs onto their agenda, which includes supporting the war in Iraq.

They are the supreme elitists.

I wish someone would point this out.

I am always amazed at some peoples herculean strength to not see the obvious.

5. They think they know best
They believe the rich respond to reward (tax cut) and the poor respond to punishment (cut in assistance).

7. I find it amazing that the masses bought into the neo-con
lies. On another forum someone pointed out that it was the stock market players that was driving oil prices sky high ( oil speculators ) but didn't know what they were called. I went farther by pointing out that oil speculators work hand in hand with big oil. Who benefits? The CEO's and their republicon cohorts. They ( at the other forum )believe the big lie that its small investers that benefit for oil speculation. Yeah right a guy with 10 shares of Exxon stock gets more return on his investment then the Exxon CEO who got 1000's of shares in stock as a bonus.

But its not the neo-con we have to worry about it's the dumb asses who buy into what neo-cons tell them. Like the idiot that I had problems with over there with his belief that he was going to inspire me with a story about a guy who could only move 3 fingers having a job and was supporting himself. I read the article he provided then tore the neo-con elitist screw job a new asshole. The guy in the wheelchair gets SSDI from his retired parents as his main income, the sheltered work shop provides him with extra income, hey it works for the guy and thats great. Just don't sit there and try to use that as a reason to tear other handi capped people for not doing the same. I worked at a sheltered work shop for a breif time. I was making $20 a week and spending $50 a week driving to and from the work shop. So it was costing me $120 out of my SSDI to go to the job. He tried saying but it gave me something to do besides watching TV or playing on the PC. WTF? Are we expecting these idiots to actually think things out before acting on them?

9. What would have been funny if it weren't so sickening
was when William Kristol, a second generation conservative pundit (son of Irving Kristol), accused Obama of being "elitist."

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/14/opinion/14kristol.html

I wonder how many times Kristol has set foot outside the Boston-New York-Washington corridor.
