Of the 2 my mind is made up and frankly I'm sick of the whole thing by now. You all have fun. I'm going to watch the hockey playoffs and go to bed early.

6. If you are, then I guess I am, too.
I knew it would piss me off, so I'm watching Countdown instead. Judging from the comments posted here, that was a good decision.

Don't have access to listen either, but wouldn't if I could. Have enough stresses and it won't change anything for me. I'm waiting for dem/repub debate though.

11. No you're an insightful human being who has a well developed
sense of proportion about what is important and what isn't.

Although I could give a crap about hockey playoffs, goin to bed early never hurt anybody.

my tV's off and I'm going outside to feed the critters.

13. Want to thank you all for your posts on the debate.
I'm a West Coaster and since it's delayed on my local ABC station, I think I'll just skip the whole thing. And no, not for American Idol. Need to peruse a manuscript for a member of my critique group who's getting geared up to publish her novel. Meeting's on Friday, and figure it's a better use of my time than watching this latest sparring match 'twixt Obama and Hillary. Oh, BTW, intend to vote Obama in the upcoming Oregon primary. Hope y'all are okay with that!

Blessings,

Tired Old Cynic

I even had a friend call and remind me it was on. I'm with you. I know who I want and after peeking in over at GD-P, it looks like they're hitting all the important topics like lapel pins, sniper fire, and ministers. Everyone over there says ABC is doing a crappy job and "worst debate ever" seems to be the theme.

Who needs that?

I'd rather be surfing (the internets.)

18. When GDPers are wishing that Russert would have hosted it...
...you know you have done the right thing.

I personally think Hillary is toast, and the bickering is getting us nowhere. I don't really care at this point, I am a Kucinich girl and deeply depressed about the way things have gone down however...
Obama is clearly the better candidate to bring hope(even if it is false hope) and inspiration to the party. For some reason Hillary just makes me angry every time I think or hear about her.

Now if everyone would put as much energy into the Congressional races...

24. No.
If either of them suddenly, and inexplicably, promises to end war NOW, promises universal, single-payer, not-for-profit health care, or to repeal NAFTA and NCLB, somebody let me know. I'll look for a transcript.

Otherwise, I've got better things to do with my time. I think I'll curl up with a good book.

28. Have they even had one 'debate' for the true public?
There haven't been ANY debates. It's all been smoke and mirrors and total BS!!

I'm not watching (don't support any cable/satellite Co.'s with my money) and

the fact that the Election (SNOBS!) Committee arranged for the debates

to NOT be accessible to POOR people who can't afford cable?

They expect them to vote and then shut them out and then call them disinterested

and uneducated and stupid!?! :wtf: ? IT'S A SHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grr:

But even if I had cable, I wouldn't bother. Both candidates are identical.

31. I miss the days that The League Of Women Voters moderated the debates
At least it wasn't TV prima donnas primping for the camera. Some real questions were actually asked and issues addressed. Now? Fluff.

BTW Wings are down 3-1 to Nashville!!

I've made my choice. I've gotta vote Dem though. No way I'm setting out this election. It's way too important.
