Masturbation 'cuts cancer risk'

Researchers were assessing prostate cancer risk
Men could reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer through regular masturbation, researchers suggest.
They say cancer-causing chemicals could build up in the prostate if men do not ejaculate regularly.

And they say sexual intercourse may not have the same protective effect because of the possibility of contracting a sexually transmitted infection, which could increase men's cancer risk.

Australian researchers questioned over 1,000 men who had developed prostate cancer and 1,250 who had not about their sexual habits.

They found those who had ejaculated the most between the ages of 20 and 50 were the least likely to develop the cancer.

over the course of their lifetime are significantly healthier as they grow older. A number of factors have been shown to be improved including mood (less depression), less ovary cancer, less brest cancer, higher bone density, less cervical cancer. He was great. I can't even describe what a wonderful, warm guy he was.

He was a relative to me through marriage (my aunt, his wife, is my mom's sister). He was the only male in his family (with three sisters), from hardy Italian immigrant parents (I swear, my grandparents' generation NEVER got sick), so he didn't have any precedent, any warning, although all of his sisters and one of his nieces have had serious breast cancer.

Plus he had it so long ago treatment was nowhere near as effective as it is today. And he made some missteps--he had a phobia about hospitals, so he chose to take medication instead of having surgery right away. That cost him his life and, ironically, made him spend much more time in the hospital than he ever would have wanted.

Lesson learned: Do. Not. Phuck. Around. With. This. Shit. It's great that you have some warning, Seabeyond. Keep close tabs on it and don't dodge that embarrassing exam--it's worth the yearly blush.
