1. Our use of torture insures that OUR TROOPS WILL BE TORTURED
wherever they are captured in the World.

4. The reason I asked...
I have spoke to a couple people lately who supports the torture... I stood there with my chin on the sidewalk, scratching my head and wondering just WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THEM?? Thought maybe I should poll to see if these are just a few of the 27% of the W supporters that I ran into or if there is some force out there brainwashing more people into thinking torture is a good thing? Glad the results so far here are against it...

5. No, torture is wrong and it produces unreliable information
Joe Navarro, an interrogator for the FBI for 28 years, has written some great stuff about how McConnell is absolutely full of shit when he says that the CIA needs to be able to use these "enhanced interrogation techniques" instead of following the Army Field Manual.

It's really interesting how he talks about the CIA claiming that they need to teach their "super spies" how to use more "sophisticated" techniques when really they just don't want to train them to do it the right way.

6. No
No matter what they have done, they are still human beings. To treat them any less would simply denigrate ourselves

8. No, it's not okay, and imho anyone who thinks it is should maybe
get a little taste of it themselves. It's against the law to torture animals, why should it be alright for people? Animals don't even torture each other. Screw looking for another country to live in....I'm looking for another planet.

12. of course not. never!
it puts our soldiers at risk from potential "reciprocity," it ruins our diplomatic standing, it weakens our intelligence gathering networks, and plunges us headlong into the destruction of our dearest traditions of civil protections. it's stupid, stupid, stupid to torture. all those losses just to get useless info.

15. Not only no, but HELL NO!!!!
Even the fact that we are DEBATING the yea's and no's of torture in this country makes me ill.

I'm not saying there aren't "bad guys" out there, but fuck it to hell, we have completely given up our right to any kind of indignation, anger, or whatever if the same thing happens to one of our soldiers or citizens.

We have NO leg to stand on!

George Bush is the worst godamned asshole in the freakin' world!
