Today, I saw the following bumper stickers on a pickup truck: "Ron Paul For President,"
"The UN Is Not Your Friend," and "America First.org." The pickup truck was a Toyota Tundra. Am I the only one who finds irony in this?

1. Well, it IS built in Texas (and Indiana, I think).
So, at least Americans have jobs for the sake of the Tundra. The bumperstickers just mean the owner is an idiot.

3. Toyota is now more "American" than Ford or GM
They have more American employees, build the most vehicles on American soil and use a higher percentage of parts originating in America than Ford or GM.

It pains me to say so, I come from a long line of people associated with the unionized American auto industry.

5. unfortunately Toyota is anti-American union
they may have more American workers, but that doesn't mean they are more "American" than Ford or GM.

6. "Union" and "American" are not synonomous
In my family yes, but that's just a game we play.

4. What's really scary is there are many posters who would have no problem putting a DU sticker

with the anti-UN and America First ones. Sad.

7. Where the fuck is he even going to drive his truck?
Libertarians don't want to pay the taxes that maintain our roads.

Even a nice Japanese truck isn't going to last long without pavement to grip.

And the UN helped keep Russia in its place. He might have never seen superior Japanese hardware without their help.

Dumbass Looneytarian 'merican.
