Illinois, Missouri and Indiana
did you feel the earthquake. I think the news just said Evansville Indiana was the center a 5.4.

I'm in SW Illinois by St. Louis and felt it.

3. Still trying to figure out if I felt it or not. I woke up and heard tapping at the same time as the
quake, nothing major, I'm far north suburbs by the Wisconsin border. Listening to the news right now, some reports coming in from nearby towns, so it may have been what I heard.

17. Haven't been downtown yet this morning. Will be going shortly.
Nothing broken here. Was quite a shake but no damage, nothing fell off my shelves (north Indy, near Carmel).

I noticed no car alarms went off which I found rather unusual. I'm originally from So. California and have been through major earthquakes there. Thought I knew what it was right away until my bird went absolutely nuts. That probably freaked me out more than anything else, lol.

11. I felt it near St. Louis
Big story on the local St. Louis news.

It was noticeable and pretty clearly an earthquake, but I doubt there was damage here.

18. I'm in Carbondale
And it was strange. . .it woke me up and I could feel it - my first thought was "is there a sudden big storm going on outside?" ...and then I knew it was an earthquake. I'm on the ground floor of a building and I could feel the building sort of vibrate - like a large train was going by right outside the building. . .

It's a strange feeling, but I didn't panic - things stayed on my bookshelves and stuff - I didn't even think of going outside or anything.

I'm glad I don't live in the high-rise dorms. . .

20. My wife said she felt it in Decatur
She's on a business trip visiting Archer Daniels Midland. Said it woke her up.

I assume this quake was along the New Madrid Fault? My understanding is that that fault has the potential to produce an extremely severe quake, in an area that is not built to withstand them.
