1. What has that got to do with C-Span?
They have all sorts of people on there, how does it make C-Span out of touch if they give all sides a voice?

5. Bingo
Exactly what heritage is it that they embrace outside of American and European imperialism?

6. I think your key words are "Seems to". Seems that way to me too, but I know I'm wrong
Because C-Span would not have survived all these years if that had been true. Actually there is another reason I think that as well. I have not verified this, be sure about that, but whenever a caller complains about their apparent unevenness in coverage they (whoever the host is) immediately cites their statistics and examples of opposing sides they have given voice to. The facts they cite do not support bias in any direction. I tend to believe them even if the facts they provide might seem to be selfserving just because they could not get away with it. Know how you can tell? Nader isn't complaining about C-Span bias; if Nader isn't complaining about something then you can bet your ass it does not exist.

7. The C-SPIN Game...
Many think this is a government or public channel. It isn't. It's owned and operated by the cable companies...and was initially set up to "satisfy" access rules for cable franchises. It's always had a "conservative" lean as it loads up its schedule with AEI and Heritage talking heads. It was the network Gingrich made "famous" for his hour long diatribes on an empty house floor.

F.A.I.R. has done several interesting reports on C-SPIN...

They've never replied to these reports.

Cheers...

4. First I gave up on all M$M..CSPIN followed close behind
Their uptighty Righty guests far outnumber the lefties ... often in the guise of taking a neutral political position, or "moderate" one, both of which strongly abide the prevailing Establishment ideologies that have brought us to the dire point we've reached.

I'll still check out an occasional Book Notes segment though, or if they provide coverage {CSPAN 2} of someone whose views I'm interested in.

8. Where They Ever In Touch?
Here's a network that cites the Moonie Times as a legitimate newspaper and gives hours of airtime to some of the biggest scumbags on the planet.

I watch out of pure sadistic pleasure.

Cheers...
