LIMBOsevic loves Nazi pageantry - Battle Hymn of the Republic
He luerves Xmas, Manheim Steamroller, and HITLER loved dogs.

He re-played the wecoming performance of the Hymn performed for Ratzo by the Army Chorus.

Whether Ratzo opposes the Iraq Attack, whether he refused to meet Condo a couple of weeks ago, he certainly enjoyed the performance, clapping like a babe. His presence was a boon to Shrub, an amorphous all-encompassing "blessing" ---intended or not-- of the giggling monkey standing next to him.

The Concordat between the Vatican and the Nazis

Cardinal Secretary of State, Eugenio Pacelli (later to become Pope Pius XII) signs the Concordat between Nazi Germany and the Vatican at a formal ceremony in Rome on 20 July 1933. Nazi Vice-Chancellor Franz von Papen sits at the left, Pacelli in the middle, and the Rudolf Buttmann sits at the right.

The Concordat effectively legitimized Hitler and the Nazi government to the eyes of Catholicism, Christianity, and the world.

The full text of the concordat appears on the Concordat Watch website.

2. Have to admit, it's a catchy tune.
Of course, so is "Deutchland Uber Alles." (Sorry about the lack of umlauts.)

3. I have no idea what you are trying to say.
Are you seriously equating The Battle Hymn of the Republic with Nazi propoganda? I suggest you do some reading on the history of it.

4. Gawsh, I did cite "pageantry". I'm pretty "up" on reading history, thanks.
'tain't a particular cultural item (like the Hymn) itself, but how it's used. What I saw was the supposedly moral authority of the Church (cough) being used (with the Hymn) for propaganda. You know, the way vast crowds, flashy costumes, thrones and crucifix-like podiums were used by Nazis?

Feel free to "get" it now.
