Why was John Edwards in Philly? Seriously now... |
|
So he does a 'walk on' on the Colbert show, does "The Word" gig, etc, lots o' laughs, but considering this was the day after debate, and the whole city is just crawling with pols, and the influential types, didn't you think there might be some other reason for his presence in this month's 'center of the universe'?
(Just who might he have dined with? )
Maybe I just have a suspicious mind, but it sure made me sit up and pay attention...

4. He had an uncontrollable urge for a cheesesteak? |
|
It's not biscuits and gravy, but it's just as artery-hardening. Comfort food at its finest!

8. personally, I don't care WHO gets his "one vote" |
|
It might have mattered if he had done it right away, but not now..
he's a nice guy & all, but he's a one term senator who might not have gotten re-elected..and a vice presidential candidate who did not get elected..
He's just one guy..and not all that powerful in the party..

10. His power isn't with the party leaders |
|
it's with the millions of people who supported him and might follow his lead. He leads in a particular niche within the party that aren't sold on either of the two left in the race.
