Wow... things really are snarky...
at DU these days. Lota personal insults being thrown around. Look at the threads about the Texas cult.

Can't we all just get along?

Oh... and if you disagree with me, well just fuck you very much... asshole!

1. sorta debunks the point
about the nastiness being due to a heated primary. Doesn't it?

3. shut up you freeper troll.

I joined after the last election but lurked a long time prior since I could not afford even $6 to join and felt bad using bandwidth I didn't help pay for at all. But I do remember it got really snarky leading up to and just after the last election, then went back to actual productive discussion about issues. I hope that's the case this time too.

4. snarkfests
are entertaining, sometimes informative, and often, constructive.

I am looking at the bright side, that there are as many pissed off people who are willing to put words to it as there are.

Redirected in the proper fashion, we could be a force to be reckoned with.

5. People defending child rape naturally gets decent folks ire up.
Hard to fault those who are so disgusted by the defense of the FLDS' behavior. Especially if you have kids of your own.

6. I don't have kids, don't want any, and don't particularly LIKE them, lol.
But I am still appalled at the FLDS rapists' apologists. Sick MFs IMHO. And I don't happen to think any of them are actually Democrats either. I mean, really..........think about it.

pointy tail, or perhaps the pitchfork.

14. You can quibble over the methods...the result is what matters.
It amazes me how many people around here appear to believe the means justifies the end. And they wonder why we can't get rid of the GOPers...we're stupid when it comes to politics.

15. Meanwhile people are working on getting paper tracked electronic voting
The end result is yes, we got stuck with the bush cabal for another 8 yrs. The means matter also. Ignoring HOW he got the presidency is stupid also. Those who cannot learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.

16. I'm confident that a Dem will be our next Dem.
I'm very confident either Sen Clinton or Sen Obama will be the next President.

But I won't state it as fact-- I lack the absolute knowledge necessary to make a prognostications advertised as fact. But that's just me.

8. There are just some subjects
That are impossible for a great many people to discuss rationally.

Any even theoretical dissent from their emotion driven opinion drives them completely wild.
