2. Thanks! This illustrates the fact that Nebraska, a democratic state in the
early 60s went red when the civil rights and equal rights legislation was introduced and discussed and debated. Watch the progress of the change.

3. 1992 must have scared the HELL out of both parties.. look how green it got
Perot had some effect on the whole country... A better 3rd party candidate that year might have really changed the landscape

7. Nebraska was never a Democratic state. It voted for Johnson in 1964 and voted for FDR twice
but that's about it. There were a couple elections other than that if you go back further, but Nebraska has been and always will be a Republican state unless the parties completely swap ideologies.
