After 8 years, can you imagine a president who might disagree without |
|
being disagreeable? This is not partisan primary politics, but can you imagine even that? That in itself would be remarkable!

1. If we get a president that speaks English it will be a major improvement. |
|
I can't see either Democrat loading their positions with college roommates and completely incapable people. They can put in friends and donors as they always do, but at least the Democrats will be more likely to put in people with some sort of experience.
Not like we had with FEMA, etc.

2. Uh, you don't get that with Barry. Sorry. |
|
He takes a while to regroup after he's been...disagreed with.

4. A president that can read and form complete sentences would be great! |
|
I'm sure he'd be called "elitist" for it though.

Hillary will be called a bitch, or a wonk (which I consider an asset, but...).
It doesn't matter. They can both handle it, and either way, we win. There will be NO MORE BUSH, and, hopefully, just a small minority of Repugs left to just try and get in our way.
It will be all icing!!

11. You already have that! |
|
Bush is on the billionaire corporatists' side. I'm doubting that includes you so you also know something else - you know whose side he ISN'T on and that would be yours and mine.

13. At times he also appears to be on the side of bin Laden and Al Qaida. |
|
I understand that Rove finally got Bush to stop standing outside the window of Good Morning America. Holding up a sign that says, Run Osama they are coming for you.

a president who, when asked a question, will have the capacity to actually answer it, and do so with with great knowledge and eloquence, no matter what the subject. It will be an all but forgotten pleasure, comfort, and inspiration, after listening to 8 years of the babbling idiot currently residing in the WH.

15. Hell, it's such a distant memory, isn't it? |
|
I can't imagine it, yet. I'll have to see it to believe it. Oh, I know it's coming, but this has been a long 7 years. I've, unfortunately, grown accustomed to having an utter moron as president.

16. Ah, someone who believes government can solve problems, |
|
as opposed to being the problem.
For all the awfulness of his foreign policy, we may end up regretting his sabotage of federal agencies and neo-liberal looting of the treasury more as time goes by. :banghead:

17. Do we have a choice? Government has been the problem, |
|
especially this decade, so it can only get better, I'm hoping.
