McCain quote about 'angry' Americans. Why is it OK for him to say?
"But the important thing is
that, do I get angry from time to time, when I’m investigating Mr.
Abramoff and find out they ripped off Indian tribes? When I see
bridges to nowhere? And you know what, the American people are angry,
too. They want change. They want action. And they’re fed up and
they’re angry with the way things have been going here in Washington."

APRIL 20, 2008

SPEAKERS: GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS, HOST

SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, R-ARIZ.

Is this not a 'bitter' comment? Where is the outrage?

4. I wish I was better informed.

Thanks for setting me straight. Hopefully I can remember.

It's 'angry' never 'bitter'....

5. White people don't get uppity
We get angry. Black people get uppity. Totally different scenarios. sarcasm

Also when a white person criticizes the US we are trying to improve it. When a black person does it they hate america. Everyone knows nobody has any reason to be angry, unless you are mad at a democrat.

A few days ago Michael Savage said the military may need to and should overthrow the US government, which would be institution of fascism (he didn't call it that though). Some GOP preachers say far worse things than Wright.

Welcome to the US kakistocracy, where the stupidest 20% are firmly in charge. But they are losing their grip as long as people keep working to kick them out of power.

6. According to Hillary 'bitter' has negative connotations that 'angry'
does not have.

Of course, had Obama said 'angry', then IT would have the negative connotations, and he should have said people are 'upset'.
