There is a hearing on
Net Neutrality today by the Senate Commerce Committee.
The issue is whether the telecommunication companies can charge website owners new fees.
If you have a Senator on the above list, please ask him-or-her to support Net Neutrality (no new fees.)
I just sent the following to one of my Senators. You are welcome to use my words.
============================================
Please support Senator John Kerry in favor of Net Neutrality.
Website owners should NOT have to pay new fees to every company which owns part of the internet to guarantee our webpages load quickly.
It's like when we pay for telephone service, we just have to pay one company, not every company which owns part of the telephone infrastructure.
Again, please support Net Neutrality.

If you're writing a Republican, then you might want to drop the reference to Senator John Kerry.
