A SERIES of sickening videos have been posted on the internet showing a man who claims to have deliberately "infected" thousands of women with AIDS.

Calling himself 'Trashman' and speaking with an American accent, the masked man says he has infected between 1200 and 1500 unknowing victims with the devastating disease.

He can be seen reading the names and ages of some of the women he claims to have had unprotected sex with in the video clips on website YouTube.

The videos - one of which has been viewed 195,000 times - also feature a web address to a "gangsta" portal filled with pornography and where Trashman has a profile.

Whether or not this particular story is true (the OP/YouTube deal) is hard to prove or disprove, but the practice is out there and has been going strong for centuries. This isn't something people should kid themselves about.

The AIDS epidemic has been happening for years now. Pretty sure we'd have a shit load of cadavers or a lot more word from prevention folks about this kind of behavior IF it was happening and causing that much of an increase in infections.

But there are NOT.

Now I am aware of AIDS/HIV prevention folks warning the gay community away from Meth usage and gay orgies that can come of it as they were/are causing a large percentage of new infections in the gay community since the heavy increase in meth usage in many areas of American life.

My initial cynicism or skepticism of any information is a direct result of the past decade or so of corporate media propaganda and the enablement of Bush to power.

At this point I trust the Internet more than I do the corporate media for the overall truth, having said that I suspect the corporate media will do what they can to neutralize the Internet's growing power and influence.
