Ooops...
On edit: is she pregnant again or is it my TV, or is it here ego trying to burst out like the 'baby' alien?

10. Amazing how well they clean up... |
|
...and they're pretty well-spoken, too... for black people.
Kinda like Obama... why, if you listened to him on the radio, you could hardly tell he's a black guy. Of course, he can dance, and probably slam dunk, too. Just sayin'
Of course, he owes his position to affirmative action, so I hope he's grateful for what this country has done for him -- and for all blacks for the past several hundred years. I mean, it's not like we owe them anything. And Harvard Law? Editor of the Law Review? Gimme a break; if that's not affirmative action talking, I don't know what is.
If he'd been some white guy, he'd have had to make his own way because America these days is a pure meritocracy, unless you're black, and you don't get anywhere unless you're way better than the affirmative action types.
And then, if you finally make it big, the government wants to take it all. Just like Sam Walton's kids and the rest of those unfortunate people the democrats want to nail with The Death Tax. It's just not fair. After all the rich do for us to treat them like that...
Everybody knows it's really tough being a white male in America, especially since the nanny state has made it so easy for the coloreds to get a quality education and a great job at a ridiculous salary.
It's like with the gays and their attack on marriage....
wp
I hope this isn't necessary, but just in case... :sarcasm:

good idea to put in the sarcasm tag...I once wrote one like yours and got blasted, no, nuked for it. It took me 3 hours to convince everyone I was just kidding although at the time I had more than 2000 posts here at DU and was being called a homophobe, racist, anti-Semite (although the fact that I was Jewish was entirely irrelevant), and worse.

27. Thanks, and that "sarcasm" icon seems to be worth its weight in XML... |
|
And while I'm at it, what really pisses me off about the bitterness many white people feel for affirmative action is that they refuse to understand how the old white boy network takes care of its own, and has for centuries.
They'd prefer to believe the ridiculous fairy tale that, in America, we sink or swim solely on our own merits and that every kid gets an equal chance in life. What they make of it is their choice, and in no way represents the ideology, values, biases and class distinctions that dominate nearly every single aspect of American life and the vacuous pop culture it's spawned.
Let me modify the above statement: I don't know if these people really believe this shit or if it's just necessary and convenient that they seem to believe because to publicly reject it would indicate some basic disconnect with the American creation myth.
And they can't go that route because it gets hard to justify the mindless patriotism implied by all those magnetized ribbon white boy totems -- unsubtly signifying there's a Bushie war monger at the helm -- stuck right next to the gas filler door of that brand new 2008 GlutcoWerks SuperSecs V-16 AutoErotix All-Terrain Aggressivo 4-MPG Combo SUV/Armored Troop Carrier with optional pivoting mini-cannon. Thanks to BushCo, they'll be sleeping in it pretty soon, at least until the repo man comes.
But if we happen to be a member of the caste of white elites who've been practicing their own chummy brand of ad hoc affirmative action for centuries and still do so with a sense of entitlement bordering on the sociopathic... Well, that's the key to the kingdom. That VP of Frivolity slot -- the one that requires enthusiasm for tropical travel, a good liver and a decent golf game -- is just waiting for the next glad-handing white son of patronage and privilege.
That's why people like Ward Connerly, the anti-affirmative action black California millionaire, are such punks. They can't be white, no matter how much sucking up they do to the power elite, and they've forgotten how to be black. Must be a lonely life with no peer group and no sympathy except from treacherous and abnormally thick white people who love his message -- but still won't let him marry their sisters.
Tough shit, Ward et al. You made your choices.

Reminds me a little of the run-up to the Iraq invasion when one of the CNN bimboette IRW cheeleaders (Carol Lin, I think) ridiculed war protesters in some scant coverage they were showing and laughed out loud, saying "I know I shouldn't be laughing. They are, after all Americans, too." (rough paraphrase.)

They want to multiply, and carry their breed into the next generation. More IDIOTS to carry on the facist positions, they fight so hard to force upon this country.
