2. As hard as it may be for some to believe DUers will not be deciding this election |

And being on an anonymous public internet chat board it may very well be Rethugs who you hate here anyway so I wouldn't get too concerned.

3. It's a weakness in the liberal character that we often get caught up in attacking fellow Democrats. |

I think this tendency is stronger amongst more progressive Democrats. So DU will always be a bear garden during primaries.

This Clinton/Obama crap is ridiculous. Neither Clinton nor Obama can win in November. 15-25% of each candidate's supporters say they won't vote for the Democratic Nominee in November if their candidate loses. That translates into a Democratic loss in November. If they fail to vote at all, it could have disastrous effects down ticket, too.
The super delegates of both candidates should "unpledge" themselves and find someone who can unite the Party and win in November.
A different candidate is the only way to win in November.

6. Both of them are sure losers. |

We lost the chance to nominate a winner when Edwards quit. The media decided our candidates and we have McGovern and Mondale now. Obama is either McGovern or Dukakis actually. Clinton will be Mondale all over again, though she might win a few more states but probably not many.

We are pissing away the presidency. Three months ago if you would have asked me if McCain even had a chance I would have said no. Now I think he takes it in November.
The Dems have found a way to lose yet again.
Fuck.
