1. I was really hoping Cuomo would run in '92

I think he would have been nominated too. He would have been a true progressive--not a DLC Democrat.

3. I have always admired Cuomo. He always refused to run
inspite of people urging him to do so. I have thought that he might have something to hide perhaps. One of the better men.

2. OK, I'll bite...
Who is that?

I pretty much checked out in the years between 1980 and maybe '94 or so.

Lost them all, mostly.

Thanks,
Tom

5. Damn, I should have known that.
But taking time out of Life in ten- and fifteen-year chunks has funny effects on one's memory.

I gotta stop doing that.

Thanks,
Tom

7. Mario Cuomo said,
"Wes Clark is a man of whom you can ask a question, and he will look you directly in the eye, and give you the most truthful and complete answer you can imagine. You will know the absolute truth of the statement as well as the thought process behind the answer. You will have no doubt as to the intellect of the speaker and meaning of the answer to this question....So you can see, as a politician, he has a lot to learn."

9. Stephen Douglas is my choice
I think he could have avoided Civil War and saved 600,000 lives.

11. I've got a picture of my Mother shaking hands with Mario
yeah, I know, a picture of a politician shaking hands with a regular person are a dime a dozen, but I love that photograph and really thought Mario would make a good President. Of course, I'm from NY so I might be biased there.
