How on earth is someone so stupid they drive 40MPH in the far left lane of a 6 lane highway (and get mad when people pass on the right) able to obtain a job that pays well enough for them to afford a 2008 Lexus SUV. (I didn't even know they made SUV's).

I'm not college material but I'm smarter than this putz. Somebody PLEASE tell me how I can make that kind of money. Do I have to join the secret club first?

because he's getting great gas mileage at that speed.

However, most highways have posted minimum speeds and 40 is generally below it. He'll get nailed eventually.

The man was totally loonytunes. I can't even begin to imagine how someone that impaired makes that much money.

Chances are if he's old that he's all too aware of his declining faculties and is freaked out by the young and fit who are still able to cope at breakneck speed. My dad was getting like that in his late 80s but he was wise enough to stop driving on highways.

There are minimum speed limits on highways because guys like that cause the accidents they're trying to avoid by going slow.

7. Some people just don't know the rules of the road.

I have seen plenty of people who just don't understand. Have you ever approached a vehicle in the left lane & they signal to move to the right only to move BACK to the left lane after you have passed? It doesn't take much to pass a drivers test. There are no consequences if you don't obey simple rules like staying to the right except to pass. There are no negative consequences to disobeying the rule.
