"We Want Your Healthcare!"
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 10:14 AM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
That's what the signs should say at every rally, townhall, meeting, parade, press conference, ribbon-cutting, chicken dinner, and baby-kissing event held by any member of the House or the Senate from now into perpetuity until we get it.

Particularly effective because they will look like elitist pigs at the public trough while they explain why we can't have what we give to them.

2. "All your healthcare are belong to us"
Like they're really going to give us the same healthcare they have. We are not worthy.

5. Stop making us pay for their health care, then! If it's good enough for them, it should be good
enough for us. Edwards thought so, too. He was going to take away their health care plans until they did something for us! probably one of the many reasons he was run off. :argh:

7. Silence, peasant!!!
You shall not take away Senatorial perks!!!

(and yes, it would be interesting to find out what made Edwards drop out. Other than the media completely ignoring him.)

3. You are onto something very interesting...... " We are entitled
to the same health-care" We don't want to create or mirror a scarcity issue that they are using to deny us equal benefits.

8. In fairness, John Kerry made this exact suggestion in his campaign
But the media drowned it out with 24 Swiftboats.

Maybe this time we'll be smarter.

9. Ted Kennedy's been saying it for almost 40 years
When he started, not even the public listened to him.
