I Disrespected The Troops Today

I was wearing it when I went to the grocery store. (I live in a very VERY red part of the state.) A person who works in the produce section saw it and told me that by wearing it, I am disrespecting the troops. I told him that the only disrespectful thing about my shirt was it is out of date and the number should be 4,047. He was livid and told me that just by asking the question on the shirt showed that I didn't care about all of our FREEDOM.

The world is one fucked up place. That exchange made me angry and sad. I think I will steam clean my carpet now.

Those who disrespect them the most are those who betrayed them by sending them into a war of choice, an illegal occupation that has nothing to do with our freedom. That's a very deep betrayal, in my opinion. They signed up to defend our country, and instead they get USED in some ill-defined neo-con agenda.
