How Do You Feel About Stick a Fork In It/Him/Her...

I have some personal feelings about this commonly-used cliche that I'll withhold. How do you feel about this phrase:

Stick a fork in him/her/it, he's/she's/it's done.

1. Supportive in general, but as with any cliché, it should be used sparingly to retain maximum effect.

People who use it more than twice a week should be sat down and spoken to.

2. I find it stupid and incredibly violent.

Corporate america trying to keep us at our throats and consume their awful products.

3. I think it has jumped the shark

and should be thrown under the bus.

4. "(insert name here) is Toast" "Jumped the shark" "Gate"--blah.

5. I've been trying to think of a way to get away with saying:

"Cut off his/her head and fill his/her mouth with salt."

Of course I would mean that in the best possible way...

6. You MUST stick a fork in him/her/it before microwaving.

I double dog dare you to nuke he/she/it without forking first. God awful mess.
