He also runs Democratic Courage, a political action committee dedicated to electing "progressive, courageous, and winning" candidates. Democratic Courage received enormous media attention for its ads during the 2008 caucuses. Glenn has written op-eds and features for The New York Times, The Politico, The American Prospect, The Baltimore Sun, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and many other publications and has appeared as political commentator on MSNBC, CBS, FOX, and many other outlets. He's a veteran of many state and national environmental and electoral campaigns. Blogger Matt Stoller recently described Glenn as "a brilliant emerging star in the progressive movement."
