One officer shot 31x..that's excessive..

11 by one and 3 by the other, okay..but 31 shots...come on

8. It's an immoral verdict. The young groom was shot because he was black
and coming out of a bachelor party in a bar district.

20. Yes. Even black cops profile other blacks. It's part of the job.
Remember Jesse Jackson's comment that he was more scared of black males behind him than of white males? There's a fear factor no matter what color you are. Had the young groom been white, the black cops would have been less likely to shoot; less fear, less of a profile.

12. It's extremely difficult to square that verdict with the facts of the case.
This is like the OJ Simpson verdict in reverse, it's that bad, IMO.

It will be very difficult to avoid violence, I am afraid.

I think Bloomberg might possibly be able to calm things down, whereas Rudy would be throwing gasoline on the fire.

16. Sad, I think I'm going to throw up
The undercover cops were out of control. I would have tried to get away and if I had a gun I probably pull it out and fired back, unlike Sean Bell who didn't have a gun.

How were this kids to know they weren't being shot at by thugs ? How could they hear cops saying they were cops. These cops just were out for a killing ?

How does this help good cops? Now others will fire on cops becaus they might fear being shot by a cop, and then cops who are in fear will shot unprovoked.

Why couldn't justice been done no matter how hard it was ?

Sick, Sick, Sick.

I just makes me cry

17. The judge rendered the verdict... not a jury trial.
Judge Arthur Kooperman. Apparently the Judge included a lot of language like "no winners here".

Many many police in the courthouse area, keeping things under control for the moment.
