Listening to Randi Rhodes over a SLOW DIAL-UP !!!!!!

Perfect, uninterrupted reception!!!
I am delighted.

I live in a very rural area.
We don't even get cell phones here, much less BroadBand INet access.
We can't even get RUSH or other hate radio on the AM or FM dials.
All we can get is Jesus Radio, and a couple of Clear Channel canned stations. :puke:

We generally don't even try to get audio of video over the web because the stream is always frustratingly broken and interrupted frequently with buffer breaks.

Our only resource for Randi has been XM Radio Air America, but XM hasn't picked up her broadcast from Nova (though XM AirAmerica does carry Mike Malloy, Thom Hartmann, and Ed Schultz).

I've been missing Randi, so I decided to just try the stream...and WOW!!!!
The stream is SOLID and uninterrupted! I can even cruise DU and post without killing the stream!

I just tried your link, and it is just as you said. I'm in pretty much the same boat, and even when I tried to listen to Air America it would be interrupted with the buffering, as you described. This is terrific.
