Politician Claims Gay Blackmailer Made Him Steal

(Los Angeles, California) A former member of the Colton, California city council has been sentenced to six months behind bars for using taxpayer money on hotels and sex lines.

Ramon Martin Hernandez, 48, pleaded guilty to 24 counts of misuse of public funds, The Press-Enterprise reports.

When he gets out of jail he will be placed on five years probation.

Hernandez faced a maximum of 26 tears in prison if he had gone to trial and were convicted of all charges.
