7. And rising.
:(

Even my ol' Escort wagon with 30.something mpg in town is too expensive to drive unless I must.
I can't imagine what it is like for people driving SUV's or PUs that are down in the teens and low 20's.

That's what it says at this link: (*Regular gas in the last 24 hr)

http://www.gaspricewatch.com/new/default_V3.asp

But now that I'm watching the ticker at the top, it seems that's the price everywhere!! :scared:

It's $3.49 Regular in my town in MA at the local independent station.

22. Ahh the good old days, when we all thought $1.72 per gallon was outrageous.
I'd be ecstatic to pay that price now.

17. $3.45 on Wednesday, $3.49 on Thursday
and I didn't look yesterday. I'll be passing gas on my electric scooter later today and take a peek.

Maybe now we'll have the will to get some real mass transit in this town instead of a bus service that shuts down at 7 PM.

…a Philadelphia gas station selling gas for 76 cents for 76 minutes… at the Lukoil station at Spring Garden and Delaware Avenue, a company promotion tied to the Sixers' NBA playoff run against the Detroit Pistons.

28. Unfortunately, America never invested in sophisticated mass transit like the EU has.
Otherwise, 8.50 would not be too terrible a burden for travelers and workers.

30. $4.07
at fvcking COSTCO!!!

well, it *was* the SSF airport-area Costco, where the other stations on the street are charging $4.49. (last chance to gas up before returning the rental car at the airport - airport-area gas stations are always a rip.)

but STILL.
