Zirkle rails against the ‘great porn dragon’ and its influence over Jews.

Tony Zirkle, a GOP congressional candidate in Indiana, recently came under heavy criticism for speaking to the American National Socialist Workers Party (ANSWP) on the 119th anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s birth. At the event, Zirkle “stood in front of a painting of Hitler, next to people wearing swastika armbands and with a swastika flag in the background.” On his website, Zirkle has responded to the criticisms by railing against Jews and prostitution:

I’ve been getting a flood of e-mails and phone calls, some of which include death threats, about my attempt to raise awareness of how the great porn dragon inspires Jews into pornography and prostitution and then, like the snake he is, turns the public against the Jews. Some have questioned whether there is any link to Jews and porn-prostitution. <…>

Unfortunately, those Web sites are just a small fraction of evidence you can find on a Google search of combinations of “Jews” “pornography” “sex slavery” “Israel” and “prostitution.” Let’s save our Jewish brothers and sisters from this tyrant king porn dragon before we get to another world-wide pogrom.

According to the Indiana News-Dispatch, the “effect of pornography and prostitution on young, white women and girls” was also the subject of Zirkle’s speech at the ANSWP event.

Hoosier state 4 teh win. We can be such a fucking embarassment, and this guy probably has a chance. I live in Mike Pence's district, I think he was ranked 415 out of 435 representatives on a progressive scale of most progressive house members. However I think 3 or 4 GOP house members have switched to dem house members (we have 9 districts) in the 2006 election so that is progress, but most are blue dogs. Blue dogs aren't perfect but their agenda on unions, middle class tax cuts, the environment, justice and other issues are far more progressive than the GOP members they replace.

When I see news like this or have a debate with a rabid neocon I sometimes go out and donate some money to voter registration drives like Moveon. I wish I were social enough to go out and register voters myself, but I am not. It would be a great feeling to register 50 or 100 progressive or democrat voters to counteract these nuts.


As far as sex slavery, his articles said something like 3000-5000 sex slaves enter Israel a year. This is bad, but it is far worse in S.E. Asia and the mid east. Why he chose to only focus on sex slavery in a Jewish state is beyond me. Unless you know his true motivation. I bet he also froths at (black) welfare queens.
