Notice that monkey isn't even watching the race, first he's mugging for the camera in some cocaine-sniffing pose, then he's fiddling around with some air horn, and DOCTOR Rice, why isn't she just all smiles watching the parade of maimed bodies going by?

Those bikes and outfits, putting it mildly, could have been made to look much much cooler. And they are being made to wear the American flag like it's some kind of corporate logo. Not their fault of course.

And they really do not look happy being in chimp's presence either.

I hope that we supply them with much better gear henceforth, made by a company that's not associated with BushCo (like those probably are).

These warriors aren't being made to do anything. Much like their service, they have volunteered for this to raise awareness of the need for appropriate care for our returning warriors. I have the utmost respect for them.

To say they were "put on display" does, in my mind, imply that they aren't capable of making decisions for themselves.

If someone was to approach one of these guys and say "oh how terrible it is that the president is using you for his amusement," it would be completely reasonable to expect a less-than-friendly response.
