1. He wants a regular show... and he is hoping NovaM can throw
him a lifeline. I hope they do, but their schedule is getting full...

Would Sam do late nite?

Rachael Maddow says that she is continuing her radio show, although the first hour will be a re-broadcast of her now regular gig with the new "crossfire" style show on MSNBC with David Gregory. I suspect that show has a limited life span and will end after the GE.

I'd love to see Rachael jump ship and join NovaM as well... and I'd be willing to kick $20 a month into NovaM to have that happen and have Sam on wherever they can fit him in.

2. Might we anticipate the "New" Sam Seder show on Nova M, beginning June 2?

I heard that Nova M didn't think they had a spot for him in their weekday schedule, but maybe they have reconsidered?

I'm not sure when they would put him on. Not all of the programming on the NovaM/KPHX stream originates from their own network, obviously. But they probably wouldn't want to tamper with the schedule: Stephanie Miller & Thom Hartmann in the mornings. Jeff Farias in the mid afternoon (their only local Phoenix show. Now would not be a good time to cancel him, because it's a great way to get the "local" dirt on Grandpa McLoon out to a national audience.) And of course they carry Mike Malloy and Randi Rhodes live. They have Rachel Maddow's show on (tape delayed) after Malloy, so I don't know where they would put Sam, as much as I'd love to hear him on Nova M.

3. I hear you...
I would love for there to be a Maddow/Seder Morning Sedition show on MSNBC.

4. Just discussed his future on the Sammy Cam
Edited on Sun Apr-27-08 04:07 PM by loindelrio
He will be guest hosting the 3-6 PM (EDT) slot May 5-6, Marc Maron will be guest hosting May 7-8, and Seder/Maron will be teaming up on May 9th.

He thinks this may be a audition for the 3-6 slot.

His contract is up in mid-May.

Oh, well.

5. Shoot! My AAR affiliate has decided to air baseball games
instead and I can't sit in front of a computer for three hours streaming. I have stuff to do and having it on the radio enabled me to listen to him. Bah humbug! :grr: A pox on AAR and my AAR affiliate.

6. Does the affiliate also run the games on their internet stream?
AM 1090 up here was running fucking college basketball games all winter on the radio, but at least they kept if off the internet stream.

Or if you can't stream it now, can you get a podcast from them later?

8. No my local affiliate doesn't even have a website.
Streaming does me no good anyway. I'm either in the garden on Sunday listening on the radio or driving around doing errands listening on the car radio.
