I have never understood what the words "spiritual" or "spirit" mean. I understand physical; I understand mental; I understand emotional; I understand psychological. I have no idea WTF spiritual means!

I suspect it means "Look at me, I'm a superior being."

3. Here is how I understand "spiritual," how I define it. Matter is actually electrical charges.

Everything is made of those electrical charges. The cells of your body therefore are composed of electrical charges.

In my opinion, the spirit and the spiritual have to do with what life is at he level of those electrical charges and whatever it is that causes the combinations of electrical charges that we recognize as rose bushes or cats or sequoias or human beings to group together and do what they do and become the various forms that they can become.

The spirit is physical in that it is those charges, but it can change form, thus the electrical charges that make up our body live, albeit in a very different form or forms, before we are born as human beings or cats or formed as roses or sequoias and after we cease to exist in the form of human beings or cats or roses or sequoias.

The soul, the spirit, the spiritual concerns the specific way that these electrical charges are drawn together to make us what we are. It is the energy that draws the electrical charges, the atoms, molecules, cells, DNA together to form us into what we are physically and, on the level at which those electrical charges remain a part of the world around us, at the "spiritual" level. For, because we consist of electrical charges, we are always a part of the world around us. We come from the world of those electrical charges. So the world of the spiritual is the world in which we sense our own being and feel connected to what is around us, hence it is from spiritual awareness that we seek to understand what we call God and the meaning of the world and of our lives. We have an essentially spiritual nature, but the spiritual is, in my view a part of the physical world.

psychological but is clueless of another, spiritual. spiritual is not far out of reach of the other two. how about conscience. can the poster understand that?
