McCain. Remember him? He's the guy who'll pick the next US Supreme Court justices.

1. And try to reverse Roe vs. Wade.
No surprise there!

2. This is the biggest flaw in the theoretical '2012' strategy
If Hilary looses us the courts in '08 with her petty behavior, then I see no point in supporting her in '12.

3. Elections have consequences he said smirkingly about Smirko putting nutcases on the SCOTUS
Some people clinging to a failed candidacy and threatening to withhold their votes from Obama in November would do well to remember that.

4. Not just Obama
If the convention gets deadlocked and they turn to someone from the outside (You can call me Al),
it's the same thing. No one who gives a damn about our civil right, our health, our environment,
our currency, our standing in the world, in short, our country can tell me with a straight face
that there is "no difference" between McCain and (take your pick, Obama, Clinton, Gore, etc).
We heard that one in 2000. They fooled just enough people then. Don't tell me there are still
enough such people out there to make a difference this time. How dumbed down can we be?

Wait, on second thought, don't answer that.
