Actually he wants to be president. I kid you not. He had an idea to run as an independent, wrote a book, ran the whole trip up the flag-pole to see if anyone saluted. Luckily I don't think enough people did, though we not find out till the primaries are over. Picture him as the guy from the movie Network, "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!"

Why are these guys always right-wingers? I want a progressive Lou Dobbs on CNN every day, stoking the fires of outrage against corporate malfeasance. Dobbs dismissed as ridiculous claims that Hillary supported NAFTA and the Columbia free trade agreement. Aren't these the very issues he should be jumping all over her for? What's up with that? He also, a few months ago, railed against marijuana, calling it a "highly addictive substance". There are plenty of things he could have accurately said about marijuana, but that isn't one of them.

The propaganda machine can see people are tired of taking it on the chin all the time, and there's some anger that either must be directed or it could do the corporate interests harm. So they put up a phony populist (right-wing of course) outrage guy like Dobbs to let people think they have a free media, that someone speaks out against the powers that be, so long as he's basically harmless and directs the anger where it will do no real harm to the corporate takeover of the planet.
