Verizon is increasing the monthly administrative charge from $.70 to $.85, giving customers a chance to escape their cellphone contract without paying an early termination fee. However, it won't come easy. You need to have all the facts and support documents on hand and be prepared to work really hard to convince some reluctant customer service reps.
