Pelosi and Reid Need to Step Down

I've been saying this for a couple of years now but not as well as this.......
Neither are qualified for the jobs current requirements.

Pelosi and Reid Need to Step Down

http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_marti_oa_080428_pelosi_and_reid_need.htm

I don't know which of these two I have come to despise more; Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi. For me, these two are no different than any other neo-con and I have no use for any one of them and none for what now masquerades as the Democrat faction of our government.

Senate Leader Harry Reid is preparing to schedule a couple of weeks of immigration reform hearings, again trying to establish amnesty for illegal immigrants. The hook on this new intended reform is border reinforcement (bull!) and implementing tight employee verification requirements for employers unless of course they are big corporations that finance both the Democrats and Republicans.....meaning there will be no tightening and no border reinforcement.

Maybe Senator Reid didn't get the message last year when American's rebelled en-mass against several attempts to pass amnesty to people that broke our laws, and who drained the federal treasury (our tax dollars at work) of more than $240 billion as several states faced massive deficits from the overload on social benefits including education and healthcare. This while these same people sent $45 billion back to Mexico alone in "remittances".

Speaker Pelosi it is claimed is coming out with her version of the new amnesty plan early this summer. Apparently Pelosi and Reid both have a hearing or comprehension problem, if not both. It is obvious neither understands that the majority of legal American citizens will not support amnesty in any form regardless of how they package it. No doubt, amnesty will be attached to some non-related emergency bill and rammed down our throats.

Reid and Pelosi need to go. Along with them the Attorney General, one in a long line of AG's that has refused to perform his duty as require in the US Code.

1. Meanwhile, neither Reid nor Pelosi has the courage to close Guantanamo
and restore respect for the Constitution, the Geneva Conventions and the rule of law.

2. they need to be slipped under the buss!
but least we not forget, they still have jobs so their view of things is very different than ours. They are at the top of their careers and are having a wonderful life and times. How wonderful for these people who work so hard for our nation.

7. The writer doesn't have any replacements in mind. WHY is that?
It's very easy to make calls for them to step down, based on their LACK of action. I've yet to hear (or read) anyone making noises about WHO will replace them. Mind you, I'm as disgusted as everyone else at the spinelessness of that pair - but screaming for them to step down WITHOUT advocating replacements that WILL do the will of the people is as useless as pissing up a rope.

So WHO should replace these two? It's a valid question. And one that the screamers always fail to discuss. Why is that?

8. With unemployment rates rising,
food costs rising, millions without health care, gas at $4.00 a gallon and heading higher an admin up to their eyeballs in destructive and harmful policy, some being criminal, Reid and Pelosi want to be working on that legislation, WTF is wrong with their sense of priority.

15. Oh. You me Illegals. Let's not conflate.
This discussion will remain as dishonest as anything the Reich can put out if we continue with this BS tactic of conflating legal immigration with illegal invasion or as best: criminal trespass.

"IMMIGRATION" is a legally defined process.

If you successfully go through that process, and you are in this country based on completing that process, you are an immigrant. If you DO NOT go through and successfully complete that legally defined process, and you are in this country, you are NOT an Immigrant. You are either a tourist (which has it's own legally defined set of parameters) or a Criminal. You do not get to Steal a Citizenship. And Americans Do not OWE you a living.

No one gets to move to this country simply because they want to. Any sovereign Nation has the right and obligation to determine who enters and resides within it's borders. There is no global RIGHT to citizenship in America.

If your intent is to completely remove boarders than have THAT discussion - openly.

Stop conflating Immigration with criminal activity. They ain't the same thing.

How come you are not just as guilty of "criminal trespass?"

Who invited you here, or told you that you can stay?

Your response and 'rational' is typical and irrelevant to this subject. But I guess it's the best one that can be made because it usually shows up. Rather than addressing any of my points, you fly off on a tangent.

Your response might as well have been, "well.... some trees have leaves"

19. I wonder how much house bill 1804 in ok has to do with this
http://www.tulsaworld.com/business/article.aspx?articleID=20080430_46_E1_pncase180356

Before this bill became law the construction jobs around here for my brother and sister American were getting hard to find because of all the illegals coming in from south of the border. Like it or not I have a right to protect my jobs here in my country is what I say to anyone of the folks who try to shove some more of the illegals down my throat. 11 were arrested on a school job in the next town over from here just last week on a construction job, hanging drywall. It sucks because we can't work for 5 or 6 bucks an hour like someone who sneaks in in the middle of the night will so who does the job go too. sorry if I hurt any feelings but I have a vested interest in the job market around here and who is doing what. The compahy in this case said they all showed a valid ID but I doubt that is the case and the company will probably walk free with not as much as a slap on the hand. That is whats wrong in all this. dm

Tulsa jobless rate lowest since July 2001

Source: Oklahoma Employment Security Commission and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

The Tulsa area's jobless rate fell to 3.3 percent in March — the lowest it's been since July 2001.

Last month's rate was down from 3.5 percent in February and from 4.1 percent the same time a year ago.

The July 2001 rate was 3.1 percent.

The numbers are not seasonally adjusted.

"Instead of finding jobs for people wanting work, we've just got to find the right people to fill the jobs we've got open," said Bob Ball, economic research manager for the Tulsa Metro Chamber. He noted that there is demand for engineering, other technologically oriented jobs and certified trades.

22. I don't understand why you want to blame workers for the job shortage.
Why not blame the real culprits instead? Blame the folks who are destroying our economy.

Deregulation and privatization and basic criminal cronyism are the real culprits. Enough money disappeared just in Iraq to feed and clothe all those illegal immigrants for the rest of their lives. Why do you want to continue to blame the victims?

25. I doubt it...
.... I'm fed to the gills with the "there should be no laws, everyone should be able to come here and work" idiots.

Guess what dumbasses, there AREN'T ENOUGH JOBS TO GO AROUND. And it is going to get worse.

Do I feel sympathy for Mexicans that take the treacherous trip to "win the dollar"? You bet I do. Most of these folks are incredibly hardworking people who endure a lot of hardship to work here.

BUT... Mexico has had 100 years to develop an economy for itself and it doesn't seem to be able to do so. It is not our problem, we have problems of our own and they are MASSIVE.

The glib aholes who don't give a shit if Joe Six Pack has a job or not can KISS MY ASS. FUCKTARDS.

29. Sorry...
... but most of them are fine. And all of them are Americans, and Americans come first.

We need some immigrant workers, but about 75% we don't need. As long as Mexico uses us a a crutch, they are never going to develop their own economy, and that is what needs to happen.
