Breaking News: Warren Buffet breaks wind, Maalox stock triples... |
|
CNBC has a new rock star; Warren Buffet. They follow his every move, pounce on every tick, parse anything the financial maven has to say. I even detected a move toward the democrats because, hey Warren is a democrat. It was almost sad to see "born with silver spoon firmly in mouth", Steve Forbes, praise John McCain's tax package.
It is obvious they don't like Clinton, but I believe they have warmed up to Obama in a way that people on the cutting edge would. He is new, exciting and even though this campaign has lasted longer than the US involvement in WWI, he still remains rather fresh.
It's interesting to watch CNBC because they are not conventionally sensational. Conservative, yes, but there is more than enough tilt to the left to balance out the traditional Wall Street mentality. And you can actually learn something. Watching the dumbed down pablum that passes for news on the other live infotainment networks is drab compared to the way CNBC presents their product.
Anyway, Warren Buffet may be responsible for that tilt.
