And it's still rising.

yay for us.

EDIT:

Wholesale gas at $3.33/gal, too. I fully expect gas here in Louisville to top $4.00/gal all over the city today.

1. I'm charging 40 dollars a gallon for water cuz I find it much more
difficult to find these days. This is rather sad don't you think?

2. You'll have to fight Bechtel and Halliburton for that water soon.

3. Already sold the car! Goodbye, loyal Peugeot...
Gas getting more expensive in the States makes gas more expensive in the rest of the world, too. In holland we already cough up more than 1.50 euros per litre. That's almost six euros per gallon, converted to dollars makes it over 10 bucks!

on the other hand, gas has ALWAYS been more expensive in europe. But this is getting ridiculous. It's just the dollar that is weakening, so if gas gets more expensive in dollars, our prices should stay the same, shouldn't they? Anybody any thoughts on this?

4. Oil is being traded by speculators and treated as a currency
due to the falling dollar (and lower interest rates on Treasuries) investment dollars are moving to oil, gold, silver, etc.

(I am not an economist :) )
