I dunno. As the copycat headlines about McNASTY's health roll by, why do I get an ever stronger conviction of disbelief?!1

2. MSM method - Repeat it three times and it becomes ingrained
People by it if repeated 3 or more time on the propaganda channels.

3. Appearance is everything
However, once an age has been attained it becomes relevant to delve into DNA longevity. How old have members of his clan lived to? What instance of cancer? Of mental functioning(with or without decades of debauchery)?

This automatically becomes an issue regardless of current health reports. Appearances are not always deceiving either. McCain does not sound or look as sharp, pre-October pressure, and his flaws are on the increase, his personal control and authority on the wane.

Fred Thompson looked good until he didn't. The Bush GOP does seem to want one the Undead to stalk the Oval Office for a while.

4. Who else do they have?
Since they don't have sex, and fail to reproduce well in captivity, the Republicans are without any younger, viable, sentient candidates, so, of course, they roll out doddering old McCain. Anyplace else, he'd have been forced to retire at 65 or 66. In the Senate, well, two words: Strom Thurmond. I rest my case.

I was off the airwaves for a year. What happened to Fred Thompson?

5. Thompson
finally learned he was as sick as he appeared and dropped out quickly. Whether his poor showing was the chicken or egg I suppose is a good question. When the Curia wants to retain power it elects and old Pope, preferably doddering, malleable and conservative. It isn't about appeal but about power games for the Bush GOP, and the talent, if any is pretty well hidden away from the corridors of money and privilege. they trust no one with any following or appeal whatsoever which leads me to surmise that the Bush dynasty totally pulls the strings on this process. Which means that a doddering malleable scapegoat running with a Bush loyalist VP might conveniently die to let into the WH an even more disagreeable Bush choice, perhaps Jeb himself.

I think some easy research could make the age issue extremely pertinent. Now at an advanced age the longevity inheritance of McCain comes into easy, logical play. Added to his boozing years and the pressures of the job, what is the lifespan of his family tree? Is he fairly certain to die or atrophy in office in fact by the math?
