Shall we bomb Iran in August? Or how about September? - Today’s Headlines 5/28/08 |
|
Top StoryBush 'plans Iran air strike by August' The George W Bush administration plans to launch an air strike against Iran within the next two months, an informed source tells Asia Times Online, echoing other reports that have surfaced in the media in the United States recently. The source, a retired US career diplomat and former assistant secretary of state still active in the foreign affairs community, speaking anonymously, said last week that that the US plans an air strike against the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). Or will it be September? Everyone knows you don’t roll out a new product in August, but maybe this time the administration wants everyone’s attention diverted by vacations and getting ready for the start of the school year to sneak in another war on us.—Caro The Freeway BloggerFor more headlines, visit MakeThemAccountable.com.Carolyn Kay MakeThemAccountable.com

If they go through with it, it will have to be awfully close to the election so they can keep the public in an uproar. Too soon and the electorate might start to come to its senses and realize it is just another Bushco disaster.
