Tell me that George Will did NOT just compare Bush to FDR and Lincoln
In a discussion about Scotty Will compared the lies that Scotty told on Bush's behalf in the runup to the war as being comparable to FDR preparing the U.S. for entry into WWII and Lincoln for the Civil War.

Sometimes I feel like my head will explode. How can they believe -- let alone say -- this bullshit?

(Rhetorical question.)

2. I'll compare them!
FDR: Attempted to negotiate a solution.
Bush: Sent in the troops.

FDR: Insisted that the enemy had to attack first, and that American troops 'not give them a excuse'.
Bush: Sent in the troops.

FDR: Was shocked at the enemies perfidy.
Bush: Shocked us with his perfidy.

FDR: "Day of Infamy"
Bush: "Fuck him, we're taking him out."

FDR: Asked congress for war only against nation who attacked us.
Bush: Asked congress for a blank check and still hasn't attacked the nation who attacked us.

FDR: Declared war on the nation who attacked us.
Bush: Declared war on a tactic.

FDR: Sought out allies and coordinated with them.
Bush: Refused to get allies, derided those he did get, and bullied them.

FDR: Brought up charges against those who would trade with the enemy.
Bush: Put people who traded with the enemy on his cabinet.

Do I need to compare Bush with Lincoln, too, or was this plenty?
