Toilet seats, still made in America.
yes it's true, the Bemis corporation still allows you to cop a squat on good old american made seats, i replaced 2 toilet seats today with ones made here.

http://www.bemismfg.com/

i'd go for the Xcite one, it's a quality seat with a hidden hinge but if your posterior is too precious for a hard seat i'd recommend their soft line. Nation, you know what to do and on which seat to sit and poo.

7. Isn't it strange that the basicflush toilet hasn't changed in 200 years?
I mean, you'd reckon that there would be something different and better in wide use by now.

16. Ah, but when you think about it, what's to improve on?
The toilets in my new home use less water and are a tad easier to clean, but basically the same thing I planted my 2 year old butt on decades ago.

I have to respect that, actually!

17. A lot of other countries don't sit...
they squat. I don't mean to be rude but a number of immigrants and plain, old tourists come here and don't know what to do with a toilet seat. (Their aim is terrible... and I'm talking about women).

14. What is still made in America is heavy machinery....
Think John Deere, Caterpillar. And it is exported all over the world.

Congratulations on finding your American-made toilet seats.

Actually, I have no idea where it was made (oddly enough it was a gift) but it's so damn cute I figured I'd share.

22. America still makes a lot of plumbing
Our parts are still in measured in inches. If we had fully converted to the metric system maybe even that industry would have been sent overseas.

26. Kinda Ironic...
I bought two of these about 3 mos. ago at my local HD. The irony is that as the rest of American corporations are taking a shit on the US labor workforce, the one that make the act more comfortable is still made right here in the States. K&R...support US manufactured goods!
