My nomination for Worst Person in the World |

MSNBC correspondent talking about Ted Kennedy's choice of Duke as the site for his surgery: "It was a no-brainer." The anchor in the studio gravely agreed with that assessment.
JESUS. Don't these idiots listen to themselves??????

She defines clueless. Show a purty cat in a tree, and she gets choked up. Show a tornado, and she sound like a kid in a candy store.

9. It just wasn't the time and place to use colloquialisms. |

Maybe no harm was meant -- I doubt he really knew what he was saying -- but it was just so inappropriate. It's a "no-brainer" to pull a struggling pitcher from the mound late in the game. It's a "correct choice" when one determines the best place to go for life-and-death surgery.
It never fails to amaze me just how poor command most newspeople have of language and syntax anymore.
When I heard it, it was just a jaw-dropper.
