5. You know, when we compare Bush with cute and well-liked animals,

give him cutesy-clever, disparaging nicknames that are meant to put him down, then in the eyes of many people we turn him into a caricature and a cartoon character of what he really is and diminish the evil that he has done. The actions he and his neocons have deliberately done is deadly serious, and yet we turn him into this buffoonish and moronic character that many do not treat seriously and simply dismiss him as a joke, not to mention that there are many Americans who simply respect the office until they actually learn about the man. I think that this has been a mistake and I wish that we could have taken a different tact and approach toward Bush that isn't seen by many as just petty and juvenile partisan name calling. Maybe then he could have been clearly and undisputedly defeated in 2004, maybe he would have been impeached and convicted. We will never know.

Not exactly seriously fitting treatment for a serial killer/mass murderer/evil emperor/dictator/war criminal. Do we or did we treat Hitler with painting him as a buffoonish joke and calling him names? I think there could have been a different and more successful approach to Bushco than this, treating him as the criminal that he is.

Most of us do realize the seriousness of his doings. If karma is correct, he will pay back in a big way. The bigger the front, the bigger the back.

and they are not necessarily hard core Republicans or neocons. I sometimes think that our comic relief causes us to not treat Bush as seriously as we should.
