2. Nope, I read to find out things I don't already know. |
|
Scotty is repeating things I've known for a while. If I had the time, I've got a huge reading list that is well ahead of his publication.

Everything in his book has been on DU for years, and not the watered down version. Can you really learn anything you didn't already know?

4. Who takes the time out of their day to vote "undecided" in a poll |
|
I can see the thought process, "I don't know what I'm going to do, and I NEED to let everyone know."

5. I have no desire to enrich a lying Republican! |
|
He may be telling the truth now...but for three years he lied to us daily--and he earned a very nice paycheck to do this. If he knew what he was saying was wrong, he should have said something MUCH Sooner. Did he ever protest within the "inner circle"?
Does he realize how MANY innocent Americans, Iraqis, Katrina victims, and others have suffered grave/fatal consequences because he didn't speak up sooner?
If I can check a copy out from my library...I may do this. I'm sure the book is an interesting read. But, there's no way I will buy this book! (I save my money to support brave Democrats who dare to speak out.)

There is no way in pluperfect hell that I will contribute to the coffers of a neocon facilitator. Why didn't he speak the truth back when it could have possibly accomplished something? Now that their puppet's two stolen terms of office are near an end, thousands of American soldiers are dead, perhaps a million Iraqis dead, the economy in the shitter, he decides to write a tell-all book that doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know.
I may occasionally cite his revelations as I perform the 'I told you so' dance for some dead-ender conservatroid, but it'll be obtained free of charge from countless passages that make their way onto the internet. In the same way that it's wrong for prisoners to profit from their crimes, I will not pay so much as a plug nickel for a book that he should have delivered up to the American public years ago - in real time - free of charge!
